"Eternal" is an imaginary story, yet an unavoidable reality. It speaks of one's fears of death, burial and the inevitable fall into oblivion. It is an emotional powerhouse of melancholy and denial with an edge to it like none of Sworn to Death's material up to date.
Though the meaning of the video is up to you, the viewer to decide, the driving idea pictures life as a game of chess. One symbolic game played against life itself in which the only winner is, in fact - death.
